  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external communication inquiries and requests.
  3. Create and distribute communication materials such as press releases, newsletters, and social media posts to promote the company's services and initiatives.
  4. Coordinate with various departments and teams to gather information and ensure consistent messaging.
  5. Monitor and respond to customer feedback and inquiries through various communication channels.
  6. Maintain a strong understanding of the transportation industry and the company's role within it.
  7. Identify and anticipate potential communication issues or crises and develop plans to address them.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent and accurate messaging across all communication platforms.
  9. Manage and maintain the company's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages.
  10. Track and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continually improve communication efforts.
  12. Act as a spokesperson for the company, representing the organization at events, conferences, and media interviews.
  13. Train and educate employees on communication protocols and best practices.
  14. Maintain and update communication databases and contact lists.
  15. Adhere to company branding and messaging guidelines to maintain a consistent image and voice across all communication channels.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Communications Role, Preferably In The Transportation Or Railroad Industry.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Various Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Design Software Such As Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Knowledge Of Social Media Platforms And Experience With Managing Social Media Accounts For A Company.
