  1. Develop and implement communication strategies for Union Pacific Railroad to effectively engage employees, customers, and the public.
  2. Write and edit engaging and informative content for various communication channels including internal newsletters, press releases, social media, and website.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy of communications.
  4. Act as a spokesperson for the company in media interviews and public events.
  5. Monitor and analyze trends in the railroad industry and provide recommendations for communication strategies.
  6. Create and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, community organizations, and industry partners.
  7. Participate in crisis communication planning and assist in managing communication during crisis situations.
  8. Develop and deliver presentations to various audiences, including employees and community groups.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and innovative communication techniques.
  10. Maintain brand consistency and ensure all communications align with company values and goals.
  11. Manage and maintain internal communication platforms, such as employee intranet and email newsletters.
  12. Coordinate and organize company events and initiatives to increase engagement and promote positive company culture.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all communication efforts are aligned and integrated.
  14. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  15. Uphold and promote the company's commitment to diversity and inclusion in all communication efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Communications Or Marketing Role, Preferably In The Transportation Industry.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Create And Deliver Clear And Effective Messaging.

  • Experience With Digital Marketing And Social Media Platforms.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, With Strong Project Management Skills.
