Job Description

UNC Health Care is looking for an experienced and passionate Risk Adjustment Analyst to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is profoundly knowledgeable in health care analytics and understands the principles of risk adjustment and coding. We anticipate that the successful candidate will have a proven track record of producing accurate risk adjustment and coding results on a consistent basis.The Risk Adjustment Analyst will work collaboratively with the Risk Adjustment team to ensure that data accuracy and integrity is maintained. We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should also have a trustworthy and professional attitude.We require a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field, as well as at least three years of experience in Risk Adjustment or Coding. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze health care data and utilize risk adjustment and coding principles to produce accurate results.
  2. Work collaboratively with the Risk Adjustment team to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  3. Develop and maintain strong analytical skills.
  4. Effectively communicate with team members.
  5. Work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  6. Demonstrate a trustworthy and professional attitude.
  7. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field.
  8. Have at least three years of experience in Risk Adjustment or Coding.
  9. Possess a CPC, CCS, or RHIT certification (preferred).
  10. Contribute to the improvement of health care standards.
