At UNC Health Care, we are seeking a motivated Revenue Cycle Financial Representative to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial management and reporting across our health system. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of excellent customer service and financial analysis skills.We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and have a minimum of two years of experience working in a healthcare finance environment. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and knowledge of billing and coding protocols and insurance is highly preferred.The Revenue Cycle Financial Representative will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of patient accounts. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to accuracy and customer service, and be eager to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilites:

  1. Perform timely and accurate processing of patient accounts.
  2. Solve customer service and financial issues.
  3. Monitor and update patient accounts using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  4. Ensure that billing and coding protocols and insurance standards are met.
  5. Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  6. Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  7. Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  8. Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  9. Follow policies and procedures related to revenue cycle management.
  10. Stay up to date on current industry trends and regulations.
