
Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology
At UNC Health Care, we are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care through the production of high-quality medical imaging. We are looking for an individual with excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a caring attitude. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 2 years of radiologic technologist experience, be a graduate of an accredited radiology program, and hold a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Additionally, the candidate should have prior experience working in a hospital setting, knowledge of medical terminology, and great communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care through the production of high-quality medical imaging.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any potential imaging issues.
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy when performing imaging procedures.
- Demonstrate a caring attitude and provide compassionate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and policies for imaging procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of patient imaging results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Maintain excellent organizational skills and prioritize tasks.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology
Arrt Certification As A Radiologic Technologist
Current North Carolina State Radiologic Technologist License
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Imaging Principles
Proficiency In Operating Imaging Equipment
Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Practices
