Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
- Educate health care professionals on the use of medications.
- Monitor patient drug therapy and assess for potential drug interactions.
- Offer consultation to physicians and other health care providers about drug indications and dosages.
- Participate in patient rounds and present drug therapy management plans.
- Provide drug information to pharmacists, physicians, and other health care professionals.
- Monitor drug use compliance and recommend changes to optimize patient outcomes.
- Administer immunizations and other vaccinations.
- Maintain records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in pharmacy and drug therapy.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy
Licensed Pharmacist In The State Of North Carolina
Clinical Experience In Hospital Pharmacy
Board Certification As A Pharmacy Specialist (Bcps) Or Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (Bcacp)
Knowledgeable Of Current Standards And Regulations Related To The Practice Of Pharmacy
