Patient Transporter

UNC Health Care is seeking an experienced and reliable Patient Transporter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate must also be able to lift 25+ pounds and be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Additionally, they must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, when needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Transport patients in a safe and comfortable manner between departments and other facilities.
2. Assist patients with medical equipment as needed.
3. Complete all necessary paperwork.
4. Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.
5. Adhere to all policies and procedures of the health care facility.
6. Lift 25+ pounds.
7. Pass a background check and drug screening.
8. Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
