Orthopedic Cast Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Apply and remove orthopedic casts while adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
2. Assist patients in preparing for casts and provide post-cast instructions.
3. Monitor and record patient progress while providing follow-up care.
4. Maintain current knowledge of orthopedic supplies and techniques.
5. Support physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel in the cast application and removal process.
6. Provide excellent customer service to all patients to ensure their satisfaction.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
8. Follow all safety and HIPAA regulations.
9. Maintain a complete and accurate record of all patients’ treatments.
10. Work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
