Nursing Assistant - Skilled Nursing Facility

UNC Health Care is looking for a skilled and experienced Nursing Assistant to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility. As an integral part of our team, the successful candidate will provide quality, compassionate care to our long-term care patients. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and patient-focused, with a commitment to providing excellent service.We’re looking for a Nursing Assistant who has the necessary qualifications and experience to provide excellent care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a valid Nursing Assistant certification, experience with geriatric care, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Provide quality and compassionate care to long-term care patients
• Follow all standards of care and regulations set by UNC Health Care
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and ambulation
• Respond to patient requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to a supervising nurse
• Assist with medical treatments and administer medications as needed
• Assist with admitting, transferring, and discharging patients
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms and equipment
• Participate in team meetings and staff training sessions
