We are seeking a motivated and experienced Medical Coder Auditor- HIM Coding & CDI Quality to join our team and help us achieve our mission of providing outstanding healthcare. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of medical coding and auditing, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. They must also have an understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a high level of interpersonal skills, the ability to analyze and interpret data, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Responsibilities:

-Review codes and documentation for accuracy and completeness, using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes

-Analyze and interpret data to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding and reimbursement regulations

-Ensure information is correctly coded and entered into the patient’s electronic health record

-Maintain accurate records of coding and auditing activities

-Conduct audits to ensure compliance with current coding regulations

-Identify and document coding and billing errors and discrepancies

-Research and resolve coding and billing issues

-Prepare reports and analysis on coding and auditing trends

-Provide feedback and training to coding staff on best practices

-Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service

-Assist with other coding and auditing related tasks as needed
