
Medical Coder Auditor- HIM Coding & CDI Quality

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of medical coding and auditing, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. They must also have an understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a high level of interpersonal skills, the ability to analyze and interpret data, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Responsibilities:
-Review codes and documentation for accuracy and completeness, using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
-Analyze and interpret data to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding and reimbursement regulations
-Ensure information is correctly coded and entered into the patient’s electronic health record
-Maintain accurate records of coding and auditing activities
-Conduct audits to ensure compliance with current coding regulations
-Identify and document coding and billing errors and discrepancies
-Research and resolve coding and billing issues
-Prepare reports and analysis on coding and auditing trends
-Provide feedback and training to coding staff on best practices
-Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
-Assist with other coding and auditing related tasks as needed
Strong Organizational And Communication Skills
