Medical Assistant - Certified

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and organized individual with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding care.To be successful in this role, we require the following qualifications: certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program, a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a medical office setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work well in a team setting. Candidates with experience in pediatrics, family practice, or emergency medicine will be given special consideration.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist physicians and other medical staff with patient care, including taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, and administering medications.
2. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and privacy.
3. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure a positive patient experience.
4. Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, filing paperwork, and maintaining patient records.
5. Monitor and order medical supplies and equipment.
6. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
7. Assist with the orientation and training of new medical staff.
8. Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
9. Provide patient education and support.
10. Respond to patient inquiries and address patient concerns.
