Mammography Technician

At UNC Health Care, we are looking for a Mammography Technician who has a passion for quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of mammography equipment and procedures, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a Current North Carolina Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT certification in Mammography, and current CPR certification.We're looking for someone who is highly motivated and has a friendly and compassionate attitude. Responsibilites: -Operate mammography equipment according to established protocols -Perform mammography exams and other related procedures -Ensure that all patient care is provided in a safe, efficient and effective manner -Manage patient safety and comfort throughout the exam process -Communicate with other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and exam results -Maintain detailed records of all patient exams -Perform quality control and accuracy checks on all equipment -Maintain a neat and orderly work environment -Provide excellent customer service and build patient rapport
