
Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist
We are looking for an individual with a passion for patient-focused care and an eye for detail to join the UNC Health Care team as an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist. This role is responsible for the detailed review and interpretation of patient charts to ensure the most effective and safe medication therapy. In addition to providing clinical pharmacy services to patients, the Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist will provide educational resources to patients, families, and team members.The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university, and be licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of North Carolina. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in ambulatory care pharmacy practice, and a working knowledge of the principles of ambulatory care and disease state management. Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and team members.
- Maintain licensure as a registered pharmacist in North Carolina.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure best practices for patient care.
- Monitor patient outcomes to ensure quality of care.
- Stay current on changes in pharmacy practice and industry standards.
