- Provide technical support and assistance to faculty, staff, and students in a timely and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain various computer systems and software programs.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new technological solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvements to current systems.
- Train and educate users on new technology and software applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all technology systems and data.
- Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within the university community.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Adhere to university policies and procedures related to technology and information security.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and IT teams as needed.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Engineering.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working In A Technical Support Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Research Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Computer Hardware, Software, And Networking Systems, Including Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Resolving Technical Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With A Diverse User Base And Provide Technical Assistance In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Familiarity With Project Management Principles And Experience Coordinating And Managing Technical Projects From Start To Finish.
