
Senior Identity Access Management Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement identity access management policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the university's systems and data.
- Monitor and maintain user access controls, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews, to ensure compliance with university policies and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure IAM solutions that meet the needs of various departments and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IAM and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and training to other team members and university staff on IAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Act as a liaison between the university and external vendors and partners to manage access and resolve any IAM-related issues.
- Participate in incident response and investigations related to IAM and take necessary actions to mitigate risks and prevent future incidents.
- Monitor and analyze IAM logs and alerts to identify potential security threats and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
- Regularly communicate updates and progress on IAM projects and initiatives to relevant stakeholders, including senior management.
- Collaborate with the university's IT security team to ensure alignment and integration of IAM policies and practices with overall security strategies.
- Continuously review and update IAM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Act as a mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all interactions and activities related to IAM.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Identity Access Management (Iam) With A Focus On Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Iam Systems.
Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices In Iam, Such As Ldap, Saml, And Oauth.
Experience With Iam Tools And Systems, Such As Active Directory, Azure Ad, And Okta.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
