- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the dining hall, ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Lead and motivate a team of dining hall staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance.
- Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and safety standards, following all relevant policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the dining services team to create and implement menus, promotions, and events that meet the needs and preferences of the campus community.
- Act as a liaison between dining hall staff, management, and customers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Continuously strive for excellence and innovation in the dining hall, seeking ways to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and budgets are adhered to.
- Maintain a safe and clean dining environment, following all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Prepare and present reports on dining hall operations, including financial performance, customer feedback, and staff performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and professional development among all staff members.
Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role Within A Food Service Environment, Preferably In A College Or University Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Dining Hall Staff.
Extensive Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations.
Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills.
Flexibility To Work Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays As Needed.
