- Greet and welcome students, faculty, and staff to UMass Amherst with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Assist department with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and responding to emails and phone calls.
- Maintain organized and accurate records, including student and faculty information and departmental budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments and offices to ensure smooth operation and communication within the university.
- Support department events, such as meetings, workshops, and conferences, by coordinating logistics and providing necessary materials.
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of the university community.
- Support student success by providing resources and information, answering questions, and directing students to the appropriate resources.
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Stay updated on university policies and procedures to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to others.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the department by taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite And Other Relevant Software.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Communications, Or Education.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.
Ability To Multitask And Handle A High Volume Of Tasks And Requests.
Knowledge Of University Policies And Procedures, Preferably With Previous Experience Working In A University Setting.
