- Prepare high-quality and visually appealing meals for students, faculty, and staff in a timely manner.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute menus for daily meals, special events, and catered functions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking of food and supplies.
- Uphold the standards and values of the university and represent the dining team in a positive and professional manner.
- Continuously seek to improve culinary skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude, contributing to a positive and inclusive team dynamic.
- Be adaptable and willing to take on additional tasks or responsibilities as needed.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Commercial Kitchen Or Culinary Setting.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Practices, Including Servsafe Certification.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Volume Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
Demonstrated Proficiency In Culinary Techniques And Menu Planning, With A Focus On Utilizing Fresh And Locally Sourced Ingredients.
