- Perform accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for the university.
- Utilize accounting knowledge and skills to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile various financial records and accounts.
- Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, and other financial documents.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or potential issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for improving financial processes and procedures.
- Communicate financial information and findings to management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reported accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry developments and changes in accounting regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling financial information.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Gaap Principles And Financial Reporting.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Accounting Software Such As Quickbooks.
Cpa Certification Preferred.
