1. Work closely with faculty to support and enhance their teaching methods and techniques.
2. Assist in the preparation and delivery of classroom materials and resources.
3. Provide one-on-one and group support to students with academic challenges.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
5. Collaborate with other Teachers Assistants and faculty to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
6. Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to faculty.
7. Assist with grading and providing constructive feedback on student assignments and exams.
8. Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance and performance.
9. Attend and actively participate in training and professional development opportunities.
10. Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating a strong work ethic, passion for education, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
11. Communicate regularly with students, faculty, and other staff members to ensure effective communication and coordination.
12. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing classroom materials.
13. Uphold and promote the values and mission of UCLA in all interactions with students, faculty, and the community.
14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate in the role of a Teachers Assistant.
