Job Description

Lead drug development projects focused on developing small molecule therapies for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and manage the daily operations of the lab. The SRA II will conduct sophisticated statistical analysis in Prism and prepare data in figure format for dissemination in regular formal meetings, scientific literature, and relevant muscle conferences. The SRA II will supervise junior scientists in the laboratory setting. Create formal presentations, write reports, edit/finalize presentations and reports for all team members, and present to academic and industry collaborators on a regular basis. The lab techniques one should have are design experiments, drug development, assay development, cell culture, and cell line generation.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology is preferred.

  • At least 2 years working experience in a research laboratory.

  • Knowledge of Statistical Analysis Methods and Programs.

  • Experience working in muscular dystrophy research field.

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a laboratory setting.

  • Knowledge of fluorescence confocal microscopy of muscle tissue.
