  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for consolidating and modernizing administrative IT systems across various departments and units at UCLA.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to understand the unique IT needs of each unit and ensure the consolidation plan meets their requirements.
  3. Oversee all aspects of the consolidation process, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting.
  4. Lead a team of IT professionals in executing the consolidation plan, providing guidance, and ensuring timely and successful completion of the project.
  5. Ensure that all IT systems are integrated seamlessly and efficiently, with minimal disruption to daily operations.
  6. Identify and address any potential challenges or roadblocks that may arise during the consolidation process.
  7. Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  8. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative IT systems at UCLA.
  9. Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in IT systems and make recommendations for their implementation at UCLA.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and resources in the consolidation process.
  11. Train and support university staff in the use of new IT systems and technologies.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to IT systems and data management.
  13. Collaborate with other IT teams at UCLA to ensure interoperability and compatibility between different systems.
  14. Act as a liaison between the IT department and other university departments, communicating updates and changes related to the consolidation process.
  15. Monitor and evaluate the success of the consolidation project, making adjustments and improvements as needed to ensure its long-term success.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field
