The UCLA Foundation is seeking a motivated and dynamic Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. As the Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a critical role in helping us raise funds to support our world-renowned university.   1. Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the UCLA Foundation's mission and goals.
  2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, and other supporters of the university.
  3. Identify and research potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  4. Collaborate with various departments within the university to create fundraising campaigns and events.
  5. Utilize various communication methods, including email, phone, and in-person meetings, to engage and inspire potential donors.
  6. Develop and maintain a donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  7. Create and deliver compelling fundraising proposals and presentations.
  8. Monitor and track fundraising progress, providing regular updates and reports to the team and stakeholders.
  9. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the university's programs and initiatives in order to effectively communicate the impact of donations.
  10. Stay up-to-date on fundraising best practices and industry trends to continuously improve strategies and techniques.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm and implement innovative fundraising ideas.
  12. Represent the UCLA Foundation at various events and networking opportunities to promote fundraising efforts.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical fundraising practices.
  14. Support and contribute to the overall mission and goals of the UCLA Foundation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Or Communications.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Prior Experience In Fundraising Or Development, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Cultivate And Maintain Relationships With Donors, Volunteers, And Other Stakeholders.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including Experience With Grant Writing And Donor Correspondence.

  • Experience With Fundraising Software And Databases, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Programs.
