- Greet and welcome donors and visitors in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary materials and resources are readily available for visitors.
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of appointments for the development team, keeping accurate records and providing timely reminders.
- Assist with donor engagement efforts, including event planning and coordination, to foster positive relationships and promote philanthropy.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the development team to maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information in the database.
- Assist with gift processing and acknowledgement, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of donor recognition materials.
- Prepare and distribute necessary materials for meetings and events, including agendas, reports, and presentations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures at the front desk to enhance the overall visitor experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and commitment to the mission and values of UCLA and the development team.
- Act as a positive and professional representative of the development team and UCLA at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field (E.g. Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management)
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Front Desk/Receptionist Role Or Similar Customer Service Position
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With A Diverse Group Of Donors, Volunteers, And Staff
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines
Familiarity With Fundraising And Donor Engagement Strategies, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Donor Database Management Software.
