Welcome to the UCLA Development team! We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Front Desk/Donor Engagement Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our donors and visitors, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships and ensuring smooth operations at our front desk.   1. Greet and welcome donors and visitors in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
  3. Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary materials and resources are readily available for visitors.
  4. Manage the scheduling and coordination of appointments for the development team, keeping accurate records and providing timely reminders.
  5. Assist with donor engagement efforts, including event planning and coordination, to foster positive relationships and promote philanthropy.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to all guests, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Collaborate with the development team to maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information in the database.
  8. Assist with gift processing and acknowledgement, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of donor recognition materials.
  9. Prepare and distribute necessary materials for meetings and events, including agendas, reports, and presentations.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures at the front desk to enhance the overall visitor experience.
  11. Demonstrate a strong understanding and commitment to the mission and values of UCLA and the development team.
  12. Act as a positive and professional representative of the development team and UCLA at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field (E.g. Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management)

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Front Desk/Receptionist Role Or Similar Customer Service Position

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With A Diverse Group Of Donors, Volunteers, And Staff

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines

  • Familiarity With Fundraising And Donor Engagement Strategies, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Donor Database Management Software.
