- Research and Identify Funding Opportunities: Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential funding sources from foundations and corporations to support the university's research and academic programs.
- Maintain Database: Create and maintain a comprehensive database of potential funders, including contact information, funding criteria, and deadlines.
- Develop Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundation and corporate representatives to understand their funding priorities and interests.
- Proposal Writing: Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop compelling funding proposals that align with the university's mission and goals.
- Grant Management: Oversee the administration and management of awarded grants, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and timely reporting.
- Prospect Management: Track and monitor progress of funding proposals and maintain a record of past and current funding relationships.
- Networking: Attend networking events and conferences to build relationships with potential funders and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Foundation Relations and Corporate Philanthropy team to strategize and coordinate funding efforts.
- Adhere to University Policies: Ensure all research and grant proposal processes are in compliance with university policies and regulations.
- Support Fundraising Initiatives: Collaborate with the Development team to support fundraising initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the university's development efforts.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy, Or Communications.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Foundation Relations, Corporate Philanthropy, Or Nonprofit Research.
Strong Research And Analytical Skills, With Experience In Prospect Research And Grant Writing.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Information To Various Stakeholders.
Familiarity With Fundraising Databases, Crm Systems, And Online Research Tools.
