- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple dining facilities on campus, including managing staff, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall dining experience for students, faculty, and staff, including menu planning, special events, and promotions.
- Train, coach, and mentor staff to ensure a high level of customer service and food quality.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to make informed decisions regarding budgeting, purchasing, and pricing.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events and special functions.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity within the dining facilities.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Food Service Management, Preferably In A Large-Scale Institution Or University Setting.
Knowledge Of Local And State Food Safety Regulations And Experience In Maintaining Compliance.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Diverse Team.
Demonstrated Experience In Budgeting, Purchasing, And Inventory Management For A Food Service Operation.
