8. Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to maintain food freshness and quality.
9. Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the head chef.
10. Provide excellent customer service by responding to special requests and accommodating dietary needs.
11. Stay up to date on industry trends and new cooking techniques.
12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
13. Train and mentor new kitchen staff members as needed.
14. Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, including washing dishes and cleaning work areas.
15. Adhere to all UCLA policies and procedures, including confidentiality and code of conduct standards.
