- Collaborate with the catering team to plan and execute menus for various events and occasions
- Ensure all food items are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain high levels of food quality and consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe and clean work environment
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the catering manager
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines and minimize food waste
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events as needed
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth and successful event experience for clients and guests
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the catering menu and services
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or feedback in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Culinary Experience: A Minimum Of 3 Years Working As A Cook In A Professional Kitchen, With Experience In Catering Preferred.
Knowledge Of Food Safety: Understanding Of Proper Food Handling, Storage, And Sanitation Procedures To Maintain A Clean And Safe Work Environment.
Ability To Multitask: Must Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously, Such As Prepping, Cooking, And Plating Dishes.
Teamwork Skills: Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Other Team Members And Assist With Event Set-Up And Breakdown.
