  1. Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to meet the university's financial goals and objectives.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, and other key stakeholders to cultivate support and secure major gifts.
  3. Identify, research, and prioritize potential donors and develop personalized engagement strategies.
  4. Collaborate with university leadership, faculty, and staff to identify funding priorities and develop compelling cases for support.
  5. Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to engage and steward donors.
  6. Lead and manage a team of development professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  7. Monitor and analyze fundraising progress and adjust strategies as needed to maximize results.
  8. Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and ethical standards.
  9. Represent the university and its mission at events and meetings with donors and other stakeholders.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to expand and enhance the university's donor base.
  11. Stay informed about trends and best practices in the field of development and implement innovative strategies to drive fundraising success.
  12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions and communications.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the university to develop integrated fundraising strategies.
  14. Act as a spokesperson for the university and communicate its mission and impact to donors and the broader community.
  15. Continuously strive for personal and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Fundraising, Non-Profit Management, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Development, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Major Gift Fundraising, Including Identifying, Cultivating, And Soliciting Donors For Significant Contributions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Donors, Volunteers, And Colleagues.

  • Experience In Strategic Planning And Goal Setting, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Fundraising Plans That Align With The University's Overall Development Goals.
