In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our students receive the necessary resources and guidance to succeed in their academic pursuits.   1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all eligibility requirements and regulations for students at UCLA.
  2. Lead and oversee the eligibility services team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and offices to ensure a seamless process for student eligibility and enrollment.
  4. Oversee the processing and evaluation of student eligibility applications and documents.
  5. Act as a resource for students, faculty, and staff regarding eligibility requirements and regulations.
  6. Identify and address any issues or concerns related to student eligibility in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Conduct training and provide guidance to staff on eligibility procedures and regulations.
  8. Utilize data and analytics to track and monitor student eligibility and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date on changes and updates to eligibility requirements and regulations and communicate these changes to relevant parties.
  10. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, including those from diverse backgrounds and with varying eligibility needs.
  11. Represent UCLA and the eligibility services department at meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
  12. Continuously strive to improve and enhance eligibility services, seeking feedback and implementing best practices.
  13. Manage and maintain confidentiality of sensitive eligibility information.
  14. Assist with any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Eligibility Services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Eligibility Services, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Financial Aid And Student Eligibility.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Experience, Including Supervising Staff And Managing Complex Projects.
