  1. Evaluate and review applications and accompanying materials to make admission decisions for prospective students.
  2. Conduct outreach and recruitment efforts, both nationally and internationally, to attract a diverse and talented pool of applicants.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the university and increase awareness of the admissions process.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing them with accurate and timely information about the university and the admissions process.
  5. Conduct informational sessions, campus tours, and other recruitment events for prospective students and their families.
  6. Counsel and advise students on admission requirements, financial aid, and other relevant information to help them make informed decisions about their education.
  7. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other university departments to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions process for all applicants.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in college admissions to continuously improve and enhance the university's recruitment strategies.
  9. Participate in admissions events and workshops to represent the university and share information about our programs and opportunities.
  10. Assist with the development and implementation of admissions policies and procedures to ensure fairness and consistency in the admissions process.
  11. Serve as a liaison to various academic departments and provide support in evaluating and selecting applicants for specific programs or scholarships.
  12. Maintain accurate and detailed records of applicant data and provide regular reports on admission statistics and trends to inform decision-making and planning.
  13. Support the overall goals and mission of the university by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the admissions process.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Higher Education, Counseling, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Admissions Counseling, Preferably At A University Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Admissions Processes And Procedures, Including Knowledge Of Admissions Software And Databases.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Prospective Students And Their Families.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, And The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Meet Deadlines In A Fast-Paced Environment.
