In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide cutting-edge treatment to patients with various neurological disorders using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) technology.   1. Conduct TMS treatments on patients with various neurological disorders, following established protocols and procedures.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  3. Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatments and progress.
  4. Troubleshoot equipment and technology issues to ensure smooth operation of TMS treatments.
  5. Monitor and assess patients for any adverse reactions or changes in condition during and after TMS treatments.
  6. Educate patients and their families about TMS therapy, its potential benefits, and any potential risks.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in TMS technology and treatment protocols.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are stocked and functioning properly.
  9. Work with patients to schedule and confirm appointments, and ensure timely completion of treatments.
  10. Adhere to all safety and privacy regulations, maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
  11. Provide support and assistance to other team members, as needed.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve TMS treatment processes to enhance patient experience and outcomes.
  13. Attend training and educational sessions to expand knowledge and skills related to TMS therapy.
  14. Maintain professional and ethical conduct at all times, fostering a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
  15. Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the development of new TMS treatment protocols.
  16. Adhere to all UCLA Health policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Neuroscience, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification In Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (Tms) From A Recognized Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Tms Technician In A Clinical Or Research Setting.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Administering And Operating Tms Equipment And Related Software.

  • Strong Understanding Of Ethical Standards And Safety Protocols Related To Tms Procedures.
