- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping of all materials.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supply.
- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain storage areas to ensure easy access and efficient use of space.
- Collaborate with purchasing team to source and procure necessary materials.
- Work closely with other departments to identify and fulfill their material needs.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and address any discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to prevent loss or damage.
- Train and supervise junior storekeepers to ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations while handling materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in materials management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Proactively identify areas for cost savings and recommend solutions.
- Follow UCLA Health policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Management Supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Materials Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems, Supply Chain Operations, And Procurement Processes.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Supply Chain Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Departments And Vendors.
