  1. Lead the renowned Operation Mend program and oversee its day-to-day operations.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for the program to ensure its continued success and growth.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address the needs of veterans and their families.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with community partners and organizations to support the program's goals.
  5. Act as a liaison between UCLA Health and community partners, representing the organization with professionalism and integrity.
  6. Develop and manage budgets for the program and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  7. Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff and volunteers to support the program's initiatives and events.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in veteran healthcare and community relations.
  9. Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to raise awareness of the program and its impact.
  10. Collaborate with other departments within UCLA Health to ensure seamless integration of services for veterans and their families.
  11. Oversee the collection and analysis of data to measure the program's effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to healthcare and community relations.
  13. Serve as a spokesperson for the program, representing UCLA Health at community events and media interviews.
  14. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for growth and improvement for the program and its partnerships.

  • Extensive Experience In Community Outreach And Relationship Building: A Senior Director Of Operation Mend, Community Relationships At Ucla Health Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Maintaining Strong Relationships With Community Organizations, Leaders, And Stakeholders.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Professionals, As Well As Oversee The Development And Execution Of Community Engagement Strategies And Initiatives.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare And Veteran/Military Issues: A Deep Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And The Unique Challenges Faced By Veterans And Military Personnel Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Healthcare Policies, Funding Mechanisms, And Best Practices For Serving This Population.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Senior Director Of Operation Mend, Community Relationships Will Need To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders, Including Healthcare Providers, Community Organizations, Government Agencies, And Military Leaders.
