  1. Coordinate and manage the care of emergency room patients.
  2. Utilize clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to provide exceptional care.
  3. Act as an integral member of the Emergency Room team.
  4. Ensure patient safety and well-being at all times.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  6. Monitor and assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  8. Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  9. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  11. Keep up-to-date with current nursing practices and participate in ongoing education and training.
  12. Advocate for patients and collaborate with other departments to ensure high-quality care.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  14. Serve as a role model for other nurses and promote a positive and professional work environment.
  15. Uphold the core values and mission of UCLA Health in all job duties.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working As A Rn In An Emergency Room Setting.

  • Certified Emergency Nurse (Cen) Certification Preferred.

  • Experience In Case Management, Care Coordination, And Utilization Management In An Acute Care Setting.
