  1. Develop and implement strategies for managing research programs within the Pediatrics department.
  2. Oversee the planning and execution of research projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget.
  3. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to identify research needs and prioritize projects.
  4. Monitor program progress and provide regular updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in conducting research.
  6. Manage program budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize research impact.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and funding opportunities.
  8. Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the course of research programs.
  9. Conduct data analysis and prepare reports on program performance and outcomes.
  10. Stay updated on advancements in pediatric research and incorporate new methods and technologies into programs.
  11. Train and mentor junior staff members in research program management.
  12. Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts to support ongoing and future research programs.
  13. Represent the Pediatrics department and UCLA Health at conferences and events related to pediatric research.
  14. Uphold the mission and values of UCLA Health by promoting a culture of excellence and innovation in research.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Or Project Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Academic Research Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Healthcare And Research, Including Relevant Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Project Management Software, As Well As The Ability To Manage And Prioritize Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
