  1. Oversee and manage all administrative tasks related to research projects within the Hematology/Oncology department.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of research grants, budgets, and expenditures.
  3. Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and progress reports.
  4. Coordinate and schedule meetings and conferences for the research team.
  5. Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, physicians, and external partners.
  6. Monitor and track deadlines for grant submissions and project milestones.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines for research projects.
  8. Assist with data collection, analysis, and dissemination of research findings.
  9. Act as a liaison between the research team and other departments within UCLA Health.
  10. Provide administrative support for research-related events and presentations.
  11. Manage and maintain inventory of research supplies and equipment.
  12. Assist with recruitment and training of research staff and volunteers.
  13. Attend and participate in research team meetings and provide updates on administrative tasks and progress.
  14. Stay informed about advancements and updates in the field of Hematology/Oncology research.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive research data and information.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Strong Background In Hematology And Oncology Research Is Essential For This Position. A Master's Or Phd In A Related Field Such As Biology, Biochemistry, Or Clinical Research Is Highly Preferred.

  • Experience In Research Administration: Previous Experience In Managing Research Projects, Grant Applications, And Budgets Is Required. Familiarity With Federal And Private Funding Agencies Is Also Desirable.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements For Conducting Clinical Trials And Research Studies, Including Fda Regulations, Irb Processes, And Hipaa Compliance.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: This Position Requires Regular Communication With Multiple Stakeholders, Including Researchers, Faculty, And Funding Agencies. The Ability To Multitask, Prioritize, And Meet Deadlines Is Crucial.

  • Familiarity With Data Analysis And Research Methods: Proficiency In Data Analysis Software And Prior Experience With Statistical Analysis Is Highly Desirable. Familiarity With Research Methodologies And Study Design Is Also Important For This Role.
