  1. Administer radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients as prescribed by the physician.
  2. Monitor and assess patient reactions and responses to treatment, adjusting as needed.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
  4. Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  5. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment to ensure safety and accuracy.
  6. Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and potential side effects.
  7. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during their treatment.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect both patients and staff.
  9. Keep current with advancements in radiation therapy technology and techniques.
  10. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  11. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  14. Comply with all UCLA Health policies and procedures.
  15. Attend and actively contribute to team meetings and trainings.
  16. Support and promote the mission and values of UCLA Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiation Therapy.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Radiation Therapist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Medical Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
