In this role, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the care of our patients who have been injured in the line of duty.   1. Serve as the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing a warm and welcoming environment for those seeking care at UCLA Health.
  2. Coordinate and manage the care of patients who have been injured in the line of duty, working closely with the Operation Mend team to ensure all necessary medical services and support are provided.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and insurance information.
  4. Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and other support staff to facilitate seamless communication and ensure the highest level of care is being provided.
  5. Schedule appointments, surgeries, and other necessary medical procedures for patients, taking into consideration their preferences and availability.
  6. Educate patients and their families on healthcare resources and services available to them, and assist them in understanding and navigating the healthcare system.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the coordination and delivery of comprehensive care for patients.
  8. Continuously monitor and assess patient satisfaction and address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure the highest quality of care is being provided to patients.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations in handling patient information.
  11. Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the clinic and the overall mission of UCLA Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Coordination Or Management.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Handle Multiple Responsibilities Simultaneously.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Billing, And Hipaa Regulations.
