  1. Coordinate and manage patient care for the Orthopedic Surgery department at UCLA Health.
  2. Work closely with patients to understand their needs and ensure a positive experience during their surgical journey.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to schedule surgeries and appointments, and facilitate timely and effective communication.
  4. Utilize strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  5. Serve as a liaison between patients, their families, and the healthcare team to address any questions or concerns.
  6. Monitor and track patient progress before, during, and after surgery to ensure optimal outcomes.
  7. Educate patients on pre and post-operative instructions, including medication management and follow-up care.
  8. Assist in obtaining insurance authorizations and verifying insurance coverage for procedures.
  9. Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion while interacting with patients and their families.
  10. Continuously strive to improve processes and enhance the patient experience within the Orthopedic Surgery department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience In Coordinating Patient Care In An Orthopedic Surgery Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Insurance Protocols.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Patients, Medical Staff, And Insurance Companies.
