  1. Conduct mammography procedures accurately and efficiently, following all established protocols and safety standards.

  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret mammography images, providing input and feedback as needed.

  6. Monitor equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and notifying appropriate personnel of any issues or concerns.
  7. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  8. Continuously stay updated on advancements and developments in mammography technology and techniques, implementing new practices as appropriate.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals, demonstrating a compassionate and professional demeanor.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required, actively contributing to improving processes and procedures.
  11. Adhere to UCLA Health's mission and values, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  12. Maintain all necessary certifications and licenses, completing continuing education requirements as needed.
  13. Comply with all UCLA Health policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification In Mammography.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Mammography Technologist.

  • Knowledge Of Current Technology And Techniques In Mammography Imaging.

  • Ability To Accurately Perform And Interpret Mammography Exams.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
