  • Provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of visual and ocular disorders.
  • Utilize the latest technology and techniques to ensure accurate and effective diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the Comprehensive Division to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care and offer recommendations for maintaining good eye health.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with UCLA Health standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and treatment.
  • Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of optometry to continuously improve patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Optometry (Od) Degree From An Accredited Optometry School

  • Valid State License To Practice Optometry

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Comprehensive Optometric Care

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ocular Diseases, Conditions, And Treatments

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Colleagues, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
