  1. Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in real-time.
  2. Maintain a high level of attention to detail when transcribing medical information.
  3. Understand and properly use medical terminology and abbreviations.
  4. Assist oncologists in reviewing and updating patient charts and medical records.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  6. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times.
  7. Keep up-to-date with changes in medical procedures and terminology.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing medical records, and managing paperwork.
  10. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to ensure quality and accuracy of documentation.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to further enhance scribing skills.
  12. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate varying work shifts and patient volumes.
  13. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  14. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing the best possible care to cancer patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Biology, Pre-Med, Or Healthcare Administration, From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Scribe, Preferably In An Oncology Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Including Oncology-Specific Terms And Procedures.

  • Excellent Computer Skills And Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining High Levels Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
