  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the OBGYN department at UCLA Health.
  2. Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to support and enhance patient care.
  3. Perform various clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  5. Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
  6. Utilize electronic health records system to record patient information and update patient charts.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Work as a float medical assistant, covering various OBGYN clinics and providing support as needed.
  10. Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of OBGYN procedures, treatments, and protocols.
  11. Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and answering phone calls.
  12. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of processes and procedures.
  13. Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  14. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  15. Attend trainings and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in OBGYN.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program.

  • Certification As A Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma).

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As A Medical Assistant In A Obgyn Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
