- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for infants and toddlers in accordance with the center's curriculum and philosophy.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.
- Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate this information to parents or guardians regularly.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive learning environment for all children.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of each child's progress, as well as any incidents or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes diversity and respect.
- Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of all children in your care.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in early childhood education.
- Attend relevant trainings and meetings to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to early childhood education and health and safety standards.
- Serve as a positive role model for children, demonstrating patience, kindness, and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
- Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and other staff members.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other events as needed to support the development and well-being of each child.
Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Infants And Toddlers In A Professional Setting
Knowledge Of Developmentally Appropriate Practices For Infants And Toddlers
Familiarity With State And Federal Regulations For Early Childhood Education Programs
