- Manage employee relations within the Urology department, ensuring a positive and productive work environment for all staff members.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees within the Urology department, including conducting interviews and coordinating orientation and training.
- Develop and implement effective performance management strategies to promote employee growth and development.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and provide guidance and support on HR-related matters, including policies, benefits, and career development.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement initiatives that support the goals and objectives of the Urology department.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Urology and HR best practices and regulations to ensure compliance and promote a high level of service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits and analysis of HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge related to HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure consistency and alignment of HR practices across the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including performance evaluations, training records, and other HR-related documentation.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Urology department and UCLA Health as a whole.
- Remain current on industry trends and developments, making recommendations for improvements to HR processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the Urology department and promote a respectful and welcoming work environment for all employees.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy policies and maintain the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards in all HR-related activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Hr Laws And Regulations, Including Fmla, Ada, And Eeoc.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Groups Of Individuals.
Experience With Hris Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite.
