  1. Provide administrative support to the Anesthesiology department, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
  2. Supervise and manage the performance of the department's administrative staff.
  3. Ensure smooth operations of the department by overseeing budget management, resource allocation, and supply ordering.
  4. Develop and maintain effective communication channels between the department and other departments at UCLA Health.
  5. Collaborate with the department's leadership team to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care and operational efficiency.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for the department.
  7. Serve as a liaison between the department and external stakeholders, such as vendors and partners.
  8. Monitor and analyze department metrics and provide reports to leadership on performance and areas for improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in healthcare administration to continuously improve department operations.
  10. Provide support for special projects and initiatives as assigned by department leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As An Executive Assistant, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Anesthesiology Procedures And Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Physicians, Staff, And Patients.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite And Other Relevant Software Programs, With The Ability To Learn New Systems Quickly.
