- Assist dietitians and nutritionists in providing high-quality care to patients.
- Conduct nutrition assessments and provide education and counseling to patients.
- Prepare and distribute specialized diets for patients according to prescribed dietary orders.
- Monitor patient intake and provide recommendations for modifications to meet nutritional needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress and interventions.
- Assist in developing educational materials and resources for patients and staff.
- Stay updated on current nutrition research and industry trends to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any patient concerns or questions.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Serve as a role model for healthy eating and lifestyle habits.
- Assist with ordering and stocking of nutrition supplies and equipment.
- Support department initiatives and assist with special projects as needed.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Clinical Or Food Service Environment.
Registered Dietetic Technician (Dtr) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
Strong Knowledge Of Nutrition Principles And Ability To Provide Appropriate Dietary Recommendations To Patients.
