  1. Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of a wide range of biomedical equipment, including but not limited to patient monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, and infusion pumps.
  2. Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and take appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repair activities, including equipment inventory, work orders, and service reports.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to prioritize and address equipment needs in a timely manner.
  6. Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and decommissioning, as well as equipment trials and evaluations.
  7. Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvement or replacement of equipment.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  9. Assist with the training and development of junior technicians and other team members.
  10. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while providing exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Biomedical Equipment Technology Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Biomedical Equipment Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Medical Equipment Maintenance, Repair, And Troubleshooting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Equipment Documentation.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Manage Multiple Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
