We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Administrative Clinical Care Partner on a per diem basis for our PACU Boarding unit during night shifts. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our unit and the comfort and safety of our patients. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical care and possess excellent administrative skills.   1. Greet and welcome patients, families, and visitors to the unit in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist in the admission and discharge process for patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is complete and accurate.
  3. Work closely with the nursing team to provide support in patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with bathing and toileting, and responding to patient needs and requests.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized unit environment, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available at all times.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status and address any concerns or questions.
  6. Manage phone calls and inquiries from patients, families, and other departments, providing timely and accurate information.
  7. Update patient charts and electronic medical records with relevant information, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of all data.
  8. Assist with scheduling appointments and procedures, coordinating with other departments and providers as needed.
  9. Participate in team meetings and training programs to stay updated on unit policies, procedures, and best practices.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  11. Collaborate with other administrative and clinical staff to identify and implement process improvements to enhance patient care and improve efficiency.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing UCLA Health, promoting a culture of exceptional patient care and teamwork.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the unit manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Completion Of A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma) Program.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Perioperative Or Post-Anesthesia Care.

  • Current Bls And Cpr Certification.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
